OUR MOVEMENT

The Direct Climate Cooling Initiative (DCCI) is a global movement aimed at fostering young environmental leaders passionate about sustainable development.

We connect students aged 8–16 with inspiring stories of climate action and impactful nature-based projects, supported by the book *The Farm* from the Sprite Land series. This book highlights challenges in the food system and showcases successful projects addressing soil health and sustainable farming. Current partners include organizations like Just Digg It, Klim, and Communities Evergreening Africa, among others.

OUR IMPACT

Through a growing network of schools in Europe and Kenya, DCCI integrates these themes into curricula, inviting students to engage deeply with climate action stories and supporting the launch of scalable nature-based projects. By 2027, DCCI aspires to involve over 200 schools across 10 countries in Europe and Africa, impacting 10,000 students.

DCCI AWARDS

At its heart, **DCCI School Awards** celebrates youth-driven climate action. This dynamic competition invites students to showcase oratory, drama, and fundraising talents for the projects that are part of DCCI. The highlight of the yearly competition will be an awards dinner for the school champions held in Brussels. The event highlights innovation and creativity from students in support of climate action. And the event will be amplified through social media platforms and partnerships.

This initiative drives a new generation of climate activists toward impactful change and environmental leadership.
