THE PROBLEM WE ARE ADDRESSING
Climate Challenges
The Gap
Soil degradation, food system crises, lack of empowerment of youth.
Need for education and tangible solutions.

“If we are to reshape our world, we must start with the minds of children. 'The Farm', Rossdale’s third book in the Woodland Sprite Series, offers a powerful bridge between storytelling and practical action, aligning schools in both the Global North and South around a shared commitment to nature and justice.”
- Wouter van Dieren, Club of Rome Member, WF Global Merit Award (2006), Co-Founder Direct Climate Cooling Initiative Brussels; Initiator Amsterdam Climate Forum (ACF)

DCCI’s Solution
Engaging students through storytelling and projects.
We invite schools to join our School Awards Initiative, a unique program designed to inspire students aged 8 to 18 to become original thinkers and active contributors in combating climate change. This initiative combines education, creativity, and action, encouraging students to develop fundraising ideas that support community and environmental projects. These efforts are inspired by "The Woodland Sprite Series" by Fleur Rossdale, which teaches life lessons through caring for each other and protecting nature.
