The Woodland Sprite series combines real challenges of the natural world and an enchanted fantasy land. The books follow the adventures of two young sisters, Sky and Anil, who are nature sprites on a mission to protect wildlife and woodlands and to calm the Four Winds in their quest to help sprites around the world.

Taken by Storm: Nature sprite sisters Sky and Anil keep watch over the ancient woodland of Cabilla, their primary purpose to protect nature. They spend their days studying the magical truths hidden in nature and writing up their findings in their journals. One morning, as the rain washes the woodland clean, watching nature sprites hold hands, forming their rainbow over the landscape, Sky realises that she must find the true colour of her nature to shine and take part with other nature sprites in making rainbows. More in touch with the real world than fairies, the strength of the combined magic power of nature sprites can send wishes on the back of a shooting star up into the Universe, where wishes are picked up and granted. And then, the opportunity arrives, brought to their doorstep by a robin redbreast named Robbie. Sky and Anil want to go on their first adventure away from home at the Temple of the Four Winds, but will their teachers agree that they are old enough to represent their woodland and go.….
