Resilience and Sustainability

A vision is a thriving earth with a fully regenerative system that protects the world’s most precious resource: Soil.

The German AgriTech company Klim is offering solutions for farmers and food companies to transition global food supply chains towards regenerative practices as quickly as possible, this way improving global food security, contributing to climate protection, and improving biodiversity outcomes. Klim's digital platform offers farmers tools to plan and execute the transition and access transition finance. Food companies can improve their supply chain resilience and reduce their Scope 3 emissions.

‘My journey to founding KLIM was driven by a deep belief in the power of regenerative agriculture to secure global food systems, restore biodiversity, combat climate change, and foster sustainable farming practices. After years working in impact-driven product development, I realised that while incremental reductions in product- and service-related CO₂ emissions are crucial, they are not sufficient to meet the ambitious targets of the Paris Climate Agreement. This insight led me to regenerative agriculture, a solution that not only reduces emissions but also actively sequesters carbon, rebuilds soil health, strengthens ecosystem resilience, and enhances food security. My mission with KLIM is to empower farmers to transition to regenerative practices at scale, enabling them to farm sustainably and profitably while being recognised as true stewards of the Earth. By building a scalable platform that supports farmers and connects them with companies, we aim to drive systemic change across agriculture and contribute to a healthier, more resilient planet.
